Ok, I've officially been pretty rubbish. I started this blog with all good intentions, and then promptly fell off the wagon. It started when I caught a bug that was going around, rather than try and fight it with an onslaught of vitamins and fresh air, I wallowed, lay in bed and ate crap. This didn't do much for my waistline, and also made me feel too guilty to go back to Curves. I haven't been now for about three weeks because I am scared they are going to tell me off, or look at me disapprovingly. Ha ha. I will bite the proverbial bullet again this week, promise.
So, aside from all that self-pitying stuff, I have also been busy doing DIY at home (not completely useless then!) - carting furniture around, sorting through my hideous garage and generally keeping active. I have also been out and bought the new Wii Fit console, so that is pretty exciting.
I was quite optimistic when I first got on it because it pitched my Wii Fit Age as 30, only 4 above my actual age... but then the following day it said I was 44... not so good. My BMI also seems to have shot up in the last couple of days, which is almost medically impossible (six pounds weight gain over night?!?!)... so I have decided to ignore it's weighing/BMI function and just concentrate on using it for exercise, because it really does feel like it is doing some good. Gets me aching, which can only be a good thing
)
So, wish me luck. My weight currently stands at 15 stone and 11 pounds (first thing in morning), so will keep you updated with how I get on.
